The BPS is designed to provide a greater bearing surface than standard-cut washers and help distribute the load at critical connections. This bearing plate features a slotted hole that allows for adjustability to account for bolts that are not in the middle of the sill plate. The BPS offers increased flexibility while meeting the latest code requirements for 2x4 and 2x6 walls.
The MASA is a mudsill anchor that provides a time-saving alternative to anchor bolts. This mudsill anchor eliminates the need for 3″ square plate washers for seismic design and, in some cases, has allowable loads that meet or exceed the parallel- and perpendicular-to-plate shear loads of other cast-in-place anchors. The MASA is ideal for installation on standard forms and is code listed by ICC-ES under the 2012, 2015, 2018 and 2021 IBC® and IRC®.
The MAB is a mudsill anchor with the design flexibility to anchor the mudsill to concrete block, poured walls or slab foundations. Because of its unique design, the MAB can eliminate certain problems associated with misplaced anchor bolts.
The FSA is designed to provide a direct connection between the foundation and a stud or joist on raised floors to resist uplift. This foundation stud anchor nails or bolts to floor joists, or nails directly to the stud. The FSA is a simple and versatile solution for light- or heavy-duty projects.
The URFP universal design provides a method to secure the mudsill to many foundation types. The URFP scalloped, slotted hole feature allows installation flexibility when the mudsill is offset or inset from the foundation edge. With allowable loads deriving from longitudinal embossments and stiffening darts, the URFP may be used as a one-for-one replacement of 1/2" or 5/8" mudsill anchors.
The FRFP® is designed to connect the mudsill to the foundation and provide lateral load resistance. This flat retrofit foundation plate features a design that allows the designer to maintain prescriptive requirements. The FRFP can be used by filling the three round holes, or as an alternative, filling two optional triangle holes to allow designers increased loads and greater spacing.
The FJA is designed to provide a direct connection between the foundation and a joist to resist uplift and lateral forces. This foundation joist anchor nails or bolts directly into floor joists for an easy installation process. The FJA is a simple and versatile solution for light- or heavy-duty applications in both new and retrofit projects.
MASOZ™ Mudsill Anchor
The latest in our growing line of offsite construction solutions, the MASOZ mudsill anchor is an ideal anchor for factory-built, sheathed wall panels. The advantages of the MASOZ are similar to those of our popular MASA™ connector, except that with the MASOZ there’s no need for additional field-installed blocking to complete the installation for sheathed walls. After the MASOZ is installed and the concrete is cured, sheathed wall panels are craned into place without the hassle of trying to align sill plate bolt holes with cast-in-place anchor bolts. In addition, the MASOZ saves labor over post-installed anchors by eliminating the need for a separate crew to drill and set anchors. The MASOZ comes standard with our ZMAX® coating, is designed to work with standard form boards, and is code listed by ICC-ES under the 2021 IBC and IRC.
The latest in our growing line of offsite construction solutions, the MASOPZ mudsill anchor is an ideal anchor for factory-built, sheathed wall panels that are anchored to concrete foundations utilizing panel forms. The advantages of the MASOPZ are similar to those of our popular MASAP™ connector, except that with the MASOPZ there’s no need for additional field-installed blocking to complete the installation for sheathed walls. After the MASOPZ is installed and the concrete is cured, sheathed wall panels are craned into place without the hassle of trying to align sill plate bolt holes with cast-in-place anchor bolts.
